The included thread tape shall be used with all threaded connections so that they will be watertight. Connect the adaptor muff into the 2 ½ inside thread in the tub. Then connect the ball valve to that and lastly connect the hose connector to the valve. Notice that this kit makes the bottom pipe drain centered, so it does not drain fully with this kit installed, 1-2cm of water will remain in the pipe.
